The chapter that i am in in when santiago gets in the team but in the second division. The quote that i got was when glenn(santiagos manager) says " If you give up now you are going to regret this for your holl life because this is the only thing you know how to do. The question that i have was when santiago was losing it and got mad because he didnt made it the first time to the soccer team in england. This reminds me of when i was taking my math test and i got all mad because i had to retake the test.

The book has been very interesting, so far i am in the part where santiago leaves the united states to go to mexico so he could get his passport to fly to england because he has a interview with newcastle united a pro soccer team in New Castle England. The quote that i got was from santiagos grandmother when she says " Santi you have never gave up in your life so yuou deserve to go to this team so you could make your dream con true. The only question that i have for this chapter is that why did santiago go without telling his dad that he was going to england. This reminds me of when i was in my soccer team against the best team in the league and we won.

missed blog #1

I started to read a book called goal!!!. The quote that i got from this book was from the first chapter when santiago says to his dad " If you believe that dreams are real... they do come true. For me this book has been my favorite because its about how this teen never gives up his dream in being a soccer player. The only question that i hve for this book is that when is the third book going to come out because i just cant wait.

Toy Story

The story that my partner and i got was the a story called toy story. this story is about a little kids toys come to life and when ever the boy leafs the toys come to life and play around all day. The protagonist of this story is woody and buzz light year. The antagonist of this story is the kids neighbor andy. The climax of the story is when andy steals woody and buzz light year goes to safe him before sid finds out that woody is not there. At the end when buzz safes woody andy goes after them and buzz and woody go with sid so they can be free at last.

The book that i started to read is called animorphs. The quote that i got from this book is that their is no i in a team. I think this quote means a lot to me because i like to play sports and sports is all about team work. I think this quote is right because if you are playing a sport you cant do it by your self you are going to have to do some team work. This quote reminds me when i was in my old soccer team, when i got in i didnt know anybody so i didnt pass the ball to anyone but myself. This changed once i got to know my team members.

The quote that i got is called "their is no future without education". The person that said this quote was a student from miss gruwell's class. The question that i have for this quote was that the students that at one time where not interested in education are now one of the most interested student in the high school. This question reminds me when we where playing soccer and this kid said that he didnt needed education because he was going to become a pro soccer player, and the coach said that even thought you want to be this their might be a possibility that you dnt make it so you have to go to school so you can be somebody when you grow up.

The quote that i got is " Everything is possible as long as you make the right choice". The person that said this quote was miss gruwell. The question that i have for this quote is that this teacher has a lot of good faith for her student, i think she must work really hard. The comment that i have is that, why does she say this to her father but not to her students in the school she works. This reminds me of when i was in seventh grade and my social studies teacher said that he had faith that we could pass the test.

The quote is " everybody is free in many ways". I got this from the book freedom writers. I think this quote means that everybody is free in different ways, for example we all can vote but until we are 21. Also that everybody is free. Since this book is based on freedom i wasn't suprice this quote was on this book.

FREEDOM WRITTERS!!

The book that i am reading is called freedom writters. This book is about a teacher that attends a bad high school. The better classes are for the white people and the worse classes are for the black ones. This teacher try's to change her student because most of the student are involved in gangs and drugs. At first the teacher feels that she is in the wrong place because she doesnt get the respect a teacher gets at a classroom. I think this book is really good for me because this shows how different races of people hated each other and how they had to survived just to go to school.

freedom writters

The quote is "These kids are going to make this lady quit in the first week", this quote is from the book freedom writers. The person that wrote this quote is Erin Gruwell this teacher from the book "Freedom Writers" The question that i have for this book is that if the students didn't like the teacher that much than why did Ms. Gruwell stayed in that class and deal with the pressure. The comment that i have is that this story reminds me of when we where in middle school and a substitute teacher came to our class because our math teacher got sick, we made the substitutes teacher a living hell because we where playing around so much that he had to go to the office for help, but even thought this happen he still didn't go and for that now he is was the teacher of the year in 8th grade.

ACROSS THE WIRE

The book i am reading is across the wire. I am about to finish this book i just need to read about 5 to 6 pages. So far the book is when their is a pregnant woman who lives in a junk yard and she gets very sick because of all the trash she is around. Because of this her baby dies, at first she is very depress but once this passes she says to her self it was better of that way because the babys life was going to be through a lot of poverty.

media to me means a lot because without it we shouldnt had a lot of things that we have today in this world, for example the internet and the t.v.

The book that i am reading is called brad bury something wicked this way comes. This book is about a man that was in the circus but now he is retired. This man tells a little kids that a big storm is gong to come and its going to destroy his house along with his family. The little kid get really freaked out so he starts to built a save little place so he and his family get protected. Right know i am in page 31, i think this book is really interesting in many ways. I think this book is going to help me a lot.
